The efficient Bosch Performance CX e-drive (Gen. 4) supports your ride up to 25 km/h with powerful 85 Nm. The strongest e-motor of Bosch is perfectly integrated, the JAM² rides agile and nimble. In eMTB mode, the motor support adjusts automatically to your riding power. The Bosch Powertube battery is perfectly integrated into the down tube, yet it can also be removed at any time for charging. For sure, you can also charge it directly on the bike. Thanks to 625 Wh battery capacity, you can ride all your trails again and again.
SMOOTH RIDING, BUT CUSTOMISABLE

29″ wheels offer an impressively smooth ride and will appeal to both riders experienced and beginner. But you have the option to switch to a different wheel size thanks to the FLIP CHIP. There are two possible axle positions at the dropout: the “low position” is optimised for 27+ tyres, and the “high position” is ideally suited for 29″ wheels. Your e-MTB’s suspension fork can accommodate both wheel dimensions, so you can ride your bike with 29″, 27+ or as a Drifter (29″/27+). The post mount adapter for the conversion is, of course, included as part of the purchase.

Our F.O.L.D. chassis has been specially designed to meet the increased demands placed on e-MTBs. This means that we can also guarantee the perfect mix for the e-All-Mountain JAM²: F.O.L.D. is extremely sensitive while being progressive enough to prevent a harsh bottom out.

What is the FLIP CHIP on the JAM² 6. series for?

You have the option to switch to a different wheel size thanks to the FOCUS FLIP CHIP. There are two possible axle positions at the dropout: the “low position” is optimised for 27+ tyres, and the “high position” is ideally suited for 29″ wheels. Your e-MTB’s suspension fork can accommodate both wheel dimensions, so you can ride your bike with 29″, 27+ or as a Drifter (29″/27+). The post mount adapter for the conversion is, of course, included as part of the purchase. For sure, you have to adjust the dimensions of the wheels in the e-drive settings and you might have to change some parts.

Can I add an internal dropper post?

Yes. And all our JAM² come with a dropper post.

Can I change between 1by and 2by? What is 1by and 2by?

1by and 2by means that the bike is either equipped with two or only one chainring in the front. Our e-bikes are 1by only as the motor just allows one chainring.

Can I add a chain guide?

The JAM² 6. series already has an integrated chainguide.

Does the bike have a chain stay protector?

Yes

Can I change to electronic shifting/ mechanical shifting

Yes, both is possible.

What kind of headset does this bike use?

ZS56 / ZS56 with integrated cable routing.

Can I connect a light to the battery?

Yes, there is enough space for a cable within the frame and the motor has an designated connection point for a light cable.

How do I get my battery out?

To remove the battery, you open the lock with your key on the side of the downtube. Then just take it out.

Why is there no skid plate on the bike?

Don’t worry, the magnesium housing of the engine is strong enough to withstand impacts. Further, it is better for cooling when the motor is not hidden behind covers. Like that, the engine can offer best performance.

How far can I ride with the JAM²?

There is no definite answer to that. Different factors have an impact on your range: Your weight, your luggage, the terrain you ride, which support mode you prefer and and even the temperature influence how long your battery will last. Can I add a second battery?

No, that is not possible.

Can I tune my e-bike?

No, that’s not possible and even if it would, we do not recommend it.

What is the maximum brake rotor dimension?

You can use a maximum rotor dimension of 220 mm.

Which groupsets do fit? With what dimensions?

The largest chainring you can use has 36 teeth, the biggest cassette up to 52 teeth.

What is the maximum tire width?

Maximum tire width is 2,6 or 66 mm (29″ wheels)

What is the maximum seat post length?

The maximum seat post insertion depends on your frame size: S: 240 mm; M: 270 mm; L: 300; XL: 320 mm

What is the maximum system weight?

The total weight limit is 120 kg for the JAM² 6. series. It includes the weight of the bike, the rider and all equipment.
